What are the responsibilities and job description for the SHIPPING LOADER C position at Inteplast Films Corporation?
TITLE: Shipping Loader C
POSITION OBJECTIVE: This position is responsible for storage, loading, and unloading of finished goods in the warehouse and loading dock areas.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of two (2) years in a manufacturing environment
- Work either 8 hour shifts or 12 hour shifts and must have ability to work evenings and weekends
- Safety glasses and steel toe shoes are required
- Must have the ability to work at a fast and safe pace, be organized, and drive a forklift.
- Previous forklift experience is preferred
- Forklift Certified
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifies and stores all finished film products in designated storage areas
- Pulls film orders for shipping using a designated pick list from Logistics
- Performs cycle counts as directed
- Loads trucks using correct procedures
- Stage and loads scrap material shipments
- Maintains a clean, hazard free work environment at all times
- Performs other duties as directed by the Shipping Supervisor
