Whole Health Treatment Center, a division of Intensive Specialty Hospital, provides compassionate and effective care to individuals struggling with substance abuse. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Outpatient Counselor to join our dynamic team.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Outpatient Counselor position involves primary responsibility for the well-being and attainment of treatment goals of assigned patients. This includes assessment, treatment planning, referrals, and discharge planning. The Outpatient Counselor is responsible for the provision of group and individual counseling and maintaining current required documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS:

QUALIFICATIONS:
- MUST be credentialed by the State of Louisiana, and have active status as one of the following; PLPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW or LMFT.
- Three years experience in Outpatient Counseling preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) preferred
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- BLS and CPI certification required (if not CPI certified upon employment, must acquire within 90 days of employment and maintain throughout employment)
