Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care and treatment for children with disabilities under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy
- Help patients with mobility and functional activities
- Monitor patients during therapy and record patient progress and treatment results during therapy sessions
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
Requirements:
- Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program
- Valid state licensure and certification as a PTA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Previous experience as a pediatric PTA preferred
