We are seeking a skilled Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) to provide high-quality care to residents in post-acute facilities in the Elkton, MD area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide empathetic nursing care to residents based on approved nursing care plans
- Help residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility
- Observe and monitor residents' conditions during your shift
- Take and report vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and respiration
- Ensure a clean, sanitized, and hygienic environment
- Communicate with family members and visitors, and facilitate communication between healthcare staff and residents
- Moving residents in wheelchairs and assisting their movements around a facility
- Provide companionship and comfort to residents
Requirements:
- Current Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification
- Knowledge of medical terms and nursing care procedures
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
