Job Responsibilities
- Provide excellent nursing care to post-acute residents
- SUPPORT RESIDENTS WITH BASIC ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING (ADLs)
- Protect resident health and safety by maintaining a clean, sanitary, and hazard-free environment
- Assist with the transportation and movement of residents around the facility
- Document and report resident vital signs and update the nursing team on physical and mental conditions
- Be accountable to follow and adhere to care plans for residents and applicable policies
- Engage with residents to build relationships based on security and trust
- Communicate effectively between staff, residents, and family members
Qualifications and Skills
- Current Connecticut Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing care procedures and clinical terminology
- Detail-oriented and able to communicate effectively with medical professionals, residents, and family members
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
