Job Description:
* Pipe Stress Load Analysis & Optimization:
Review and optimize structural load criteria for liquid cooling piping systems including its connections, analyzing component gravity loads and seismic/thermal combinations.
* BOD Documentation & Standards Development:
Improve load documentation in Basis Of Design documents for liquid cooling systems, ensuring proper racking load criteria and structural requirements. Develop process runbooks for standardized workflows.
* Project-Level Technical Review:
Review liquid cooling submittals across multiple projects to ensure standardization and proper structural integration.
* Cross-Team Coordination:
Collaborate with racking team, MPS and racking vendors to align on load calculations, connection designs, and pipe support strategies.
* Process Improvement:
Coordinate with construction teams to develop improved pipe and racking coordination workflows.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• ABET accredited Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
PE or SE Engineering license.
• 5 years experience in pipe stress design, connection design, and pipe support
• 7 years experience in structural design for industrial or commercial projects.
•Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standard including IBC and ASCE.
• Experience in design and calculation for auxiliary framing systems used to support cable tray, conduit, ductwork, etc.
•Experience in design and review of non-structural components and non-building structures
• Experience in Construction Administration
• Strong communication and writing skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
• ABET accredited Master's degree in civil or structural engineering.
