Pay Range: $45/hr. – $60.00/hr. on W2

About the Role

We’re looking for a Controls Engineer with strong robotics and vision systems experience to support and enhance advanced manufacturing operations. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with Fanuc robots, Cognex vision systems, and automation technologies to drive efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement on the production floor.

You’ll partner closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to design, troubleshoot, and optimize automation systems, helping reduce downtime and improve overall performance.

What You’ll Do

• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize Fanuc robotic systems
• Develop robot paths, configure tooling, and manage I/O and safety setups
• Configure and support Cognex In-Sight / VisionPro systems for inspection and quality
• Work with Matrox (MIL / Design Assistant) vision solutions
• Integrate robotics with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and HMI systems
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of automation equipment
• Troubleshoot issues related to motion control, robotics, and vision systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and new projects
• Ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA, NFPA, IEC, UL)
• Contribute to development of advanced automation solutions (robotics, laser, AI-driven systems)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Fanuc ROBOGUIDE (robot simulation)
• Background in manufacturing automation, CNC, or conveyors
• Hands-on experience with vision-guided robotics systems
• Exposure to AI, advanced controls, or smart manufacturing technologies
• Experience with Python or ROS2 (nice to have)
