Job Title: Accounting Analyst
Locations: San Jose, CA
Duration: 7 Months (Possibility of extensions)

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst IV to support U.S. Corporate Accounting with a focus on General Ledger accounting, international close activities, and compensation‑related accounting. This role partners closely with cross‑functional finance teams, supports month‑end and quarter‑end close processes, and contributes to continuous improvement through automation and process optimization. The position involves exposure to JAPAC and EMEA regions and complex, large‑volume financial data.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 6–9 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Hands‑on experience with General Ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial close
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Detail‑oriented with a structured, methodical approach
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced, dynamic environments
Highly Desired Skills
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP or similar platforms)
- Experience with reconciliation tools (e.g., Blackline or similar)
- Exposure to automation or AI‑enabled accounting tools
Responsibilities
- Support General Ledger transactional activities for JAPAC and EMEA regions
- Prepare and post journal entries and support month‑end and quarter‑end close
- Prepare and upload account reconciliations using reconciliation tools
- Prepare monthly accruals, cash forecasts, and supporting schedules
- Perform compensation-related accounting, including Payroll, PTO, Fringe benefits, Bonuses, Sabbaticals, Relocation, Sales commissions
- Perform monthly reviews of accruals and prepaid expenses for accuracy
- Provide flux analysis and commentary on compensation accruals and expense variances
- Investigate reconciling items, identify root causes, and partner with stakeholders to reduce recurrence
- Support manual clearing of payroll‑related bank transactions
- Perform UAT testing related to system‑driven General Ledger processes
- Support quarterly and annual audits
- Provide accurate accounting data and insights to support finance partners and decision‑making
- Identify inefficiencies and leverage automation and AI‑enabled tools to optimize accounting and reconciliation processes
- Support ad hoc projects and analyses as needed
