Summary:

As a Virtualization Administrator, you will play a key role in providing support in managing and

maintaining the virtualized IT infrastructure to ensure its stability, performance, and security for

the customer's program. The role involves oversight of the on-prem hardware infrastructure

(e.g., servers and storage), the on-prem hypervisor environment (e.g., VMWare, vSphere), and

CSP infrastructure hosted in Microsoft Azure.

Requirements:

 Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance i

 3 years of professional experience in virtualization administration with focus on

VMware, Hyper-V, and other similar technologies

 Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field or equivalent professional

experience

 Virtualization Administrator with focus on VMware, Hyper-V and other similar

technologies

 Experience managing and troubling shooting VMware vSphere environments

 Experience supporting virtualization infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.

 Experience with overseeing on-prem hardware infrastructure (e.g., servers and storage),

the on-prem hypervisor environment (e.g., VMWare, vSphere), and CSP infrastructure

hosted in Microsoft Azure.

 Experience overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of virtual

machines (VMs), virtual infrastructure, and physical infrastructure (including rack

mounting and hardware configuration).

 Experience monitoring the performance of virtual environments and optimizing resource

allocation to ensure efficient operation.

 Experience diagnosing and resolving issues related to virtualization, including VM

performance, connectivity, and security.

 Experience with the automation of infrastructure deployment and the integration of

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) into CI/CD pipelines.

 Experience with the automation of IT administration and server provisioning using tools

such as:

 Azure, Azure DevOps, Azure Automation, Azure CLI

 PowerShell and VMWare PowerCLI

 Terraforms or similar IaC tools

 Experience integrating infrastructure management tools with APIs to enable deployment

of Infrastructure as Code integrated into CI/CD deployment pipelines.

 VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator

Associate certification preferred
