Electronics Test Technician (Temporary)

Intellisense Systems, Inc. is a privately held company with a proven track record of developing and deploying innovative products that successfully operate in the most extreme environments.  We are a fast-growing Southern California technology innovator that solves tough, mission-critical challenges for our customers in the aerospace, defense, and commercial markets.  We design, develop, and manufacture advanced products for ground, maritime, and airborne applications.We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electronics Test Technician to join our Operations Department.  The successful candidate will have electronics and mechanical manufacturing experience.  They will be proficient in operating &  supporting test systems and test equipment to verify the performance of integrated electro/opto/mechanical systems. This is a 3-month contract role with the potential to convert to a full-time role.Responsibilities: Perform board level and system level programming and testing using automated test fixtures.Perform optical alignment and testing. Operate environmental stress screening (ESS) chambers through highly accelerated life testing (HALT)Capture and document test data as part of production automated test procedures (ATP) and product traveler documentation.Analyze test data in-situ and root cause test issues.Work with engineers and manufacturing technicians to improve test procedures and fixtures.Perform product assembly as needed, including soldering, potting, and mechanical assembly.Other duties as assigned.​Requirements: Associate degree in general technical area is a plus2-3 years’ experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment Experience with operation of automated test fixtures, printed circuit board assembly and testing, cable harness production, ESD control, and handling optical components are a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent technical report writing skillsBasic electrical circuit and mechanical design knowledge sufficient for understanding of test fixtures including basic wiring and computer interfacingMust be able to work in a challenging and engaging work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, accountability, and professional developmentLabVIEW or ESS programming experience is a plusCurrent IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 solder certification is a plusWhat You Could Expect: The freedom to take risks, to innovate, and to be rewardedPartner with trusting leadership that approaches tasks and requests with urgencyDeliver products that are continually recognized as industry disruptorsPay Range:$25.50-$31.90/hourHowever, base salary for this position will vary based on your skills, qualifications, and experience.The unique culture at Intellisense offers the entrepreneurial spirit of a smaller company with the support and expertise of a larger organization.
