Position Summary

We are seeking a bilingual Mandarin-English Cost Accountant with strong manufacturing accounting experience to join our growing U.S. manufacturing operation.

This position will play a key role in manufacturing cost accounting, including product costing, inventory accounting, cost and variance analysis, and month-end close. The role will work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Finance to improve cost visibility and support operational and financial decision-making.

The scope and level of the position will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do

● Perform and manage full-cycle product costing, standard costing, and comprehensive manufacturing cost analysis.

● Analyze all manufacturing-related costs, including raw materials, direct labor, manufacturing overhead, and inventory costs.

● Establish, update and maintain standard costing systems and standardized costing methodologies.

● Conduct in-depth analysis of actual vs standard costs, manufacturing variances, inventory variances, and core cost driving factors.

● Support monthly financial closing procedures, including completing cost-related journal entries, account reconciliations, expense accruals and financial reporting.

● Manage and reconcile inventory accounts, and support regular physical inventory checks and cycle count work.

● Prepare regular cost analysis reports, variance analysis reports and profitability analysis reports for internal management review.

● Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, purchasing and finance teams to strengthen cost control and improve overall cost visibility.

● Identify potential cost-saving opportunities, output professional financial insights, and support business strategic decisions.

● Cooperate with internal and external audit work, and ensure full compliance with accounting standards and internal control regulations.

● Drive continuous optimization of accounting workflows, ERP systems and internal control mechanisms.

About You

Required Qualifications

● Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience in a formal manufacturing environment.

● Hands-on practical experience in manufacturing cost accounting business.

● In-depth understanding of product costing, inventory accounting, standard costing, variance analysis and general financial accounting principles.

● Familiar with month-end closing processes and independent account reconciliation capabilities.

● Practical operating experience with mainstream manufacturing ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite, SAP or equivalent systems).

● Proficient in Excel data analysis and reporting, with strong logical analysis capabilities.

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related business fields.

Preferred Qualifications

● Working experience in high-volume, standardized or advanced manufacturing scenarios.

● Experience working in expanding manufacturing factories, greenfield projects or fast-growing production teams.

● Possession of CPA, CMA or other professional accounting certifications.

Compensation: The pay offered to a successful candidate will be determined by various factors, including education, work experience, location, job responsibilities, certifications, and more. Additionally, IntelliPro provides a comprehensive benefits package, all subject to eligibility. Candidates are eligible for a 10% annual bonus and $3000 relocation assistance.
