Position: Sourcing Analyst (IT Procurement)
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid : 2–4 days)
Job Type: 12 months, possible extension
Salary Range: $136 - $40/hr W2
Travel: Up to 10% (for client events only)
About the role: Our client is looking for a highly motivated Sourcing Analyst / Sourcing Specialist to support IT procurement initiatives. In this role, candidate will lead vendor sourcing, procurement strategy development, and supplier negotiations for IT-related categories including hardware, software, and services. Key Responsibilities
✔️ Source and identify best-fit vendors for IT procurement needs
✔️ Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT categories
✔️ Lead RFPs, RFQs, and supplier negotiations
✔️ Manage contracts (NDA, SOW, MSA, SaaS agreements, etc.)
✔️ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business units
✔️ Drive cost savings while mitigating risks
✔️ Process purchase orders and support procurement operations
Must-Have Qualifications
🔹 Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain, or related)
🔹 3 years of experience in indirect procurement sourcing
🔹 Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables)
🔹 Experience with IT procurement (software/services/hardware)
🔹 Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay tools (e.g., Ariba)
🔹 Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
Nice to Have
