We are seeking skilled MIG Welders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of fabrication processes. This role involves working in manufacturing environments, where precision and adherence to safety standards are paramount. The MIG Welder will be responsible for producing high-quality welds while ensuring compliance with company standards.
Duties
- Perform MIG welding on steel parts.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications is a plus.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively and safely.
- Conduct fabrication tasks, including assembly and pipe threading as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Inspect completed welds for quality assurance using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while meeting quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in MIG welding
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic math calculations related to welding tasks.
- Experience with rigging, machining, soldering, plasma cutting, and operating press brake machines is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or construction is preferred.
Additional Information
Shift
- 1st - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 2nd - 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM
Pay
- 1st shift - $18.70/hr
- 2nd shift - $19.23/hr
- $1.50/hr perfect attendance bonus weekly
Must be able to pass an on-site weld test!!!
