As an Engineering Excellence Coach, you'll work across multiple engineering teams to improve software quality, engineering productivity, development standards, and AI-assisted software delivery.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll mentor engineers, introduce modern engineering practices, leverage AI development tools, and help teams build scalable, maintainable enterprise software.
Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Staff-level .NET Engineer passionate about engineering excellence.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coaching engineers, improving development workflows, introducing AI-powered engineering practices, conducting code reviews, and helping engineering teams continuously improve.
You won't be managing people—you'll be improving engineers.
We are looking for Engineers who can:
- Coach engineering teams on modern .NET engineering practices.
- Drive engineering excellence initiatives across multiple teams.
- Perform architecture and code reviews.
- Improve software quality, maintainability, and reliability.
- Introduce AI-assisted development using GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, or similar tools.
Mentor engineers on:
- Clean Architecture
- SOLID Principles
- Domain-Driven Design
- Design Patterns
- Test-Driven Development
- Refactoring
Improve engineering productivity through automation.
Identify technical debt and modernization opportunities.
Define engineering standards and coding guidelines.
Promote CI/CD best practices.
Drive engineering metrics, including:
- Code Quality
- Developer Productivity
- Deployment Frequency
- Change Failure Rate
- MTTR
Help teams adopt observability and production engineering best practices.
Conduct workshops and technical coaching sessions.
Collaborate with architects and engineering leadership to continuously improve delivery.

You'll become a trusted technical mentor who raises the bar for engineering excellence throughout the organization.
Compensation: $75 - $85 / Hour
