Intellian Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced U.S.-based Principal Technical Program Manager with deep expertise in satellite communications, Gateway Antenna product management, and in-life management. With native-level fluency in English, this role is crucial in bridging communication and technical requirements between our U.S.-based teams and our engineering and manufacturing teams in South Korea, ensuring the seamless execution of complex satellite communication product development programs.
You will interface directly with customers and be responsible for generating technical requirement specifications derived from customer product requirements. As part of the Global Technical Program Management team, you will regularly engage with Intellian's customers to provide program updates in accordance with partnership and contractual commitments. This role involves leading the successful delivery of Gateway Antenna product offerings, working collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers, engineering teams, and customers in a fast-paced, analytical environment, while driving productization from concept through mass production.

Program Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead technical programs from concept to delivery, ensuring projects are on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Own the successful delivery of products and capabilities to partners and customers.
- Support the Global Technical Program Management team leadership in their work with the Business Development and Sales teams as well as the organization’s senior management in the setting of customer strategy and make high-judgment trade-offs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution:
- Work closely with the Engineering teams in Korea for seamless communication and alignment.
- Collaborate with engineering leaders to create project plans (concept to mass production) for Gateway Antenna development.
- Manage programs with the goal of optimizing and protecting Gateway Antenna development schedules meeting agreed cost and quality requirements.
- Drive engineering project execution, facilitate technical trade-offs, track status, and resolve blocking issues.
- Collaborate with architecture, hardware, and software teams on cross-functional deliverables.
- Where necessary, support the Engineering and Supply Chain Management teams or directly coordinate with vendors, distributors, and contract manufacturers for parts procurement and delivery tracking.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external development partners for integration.
Customer Engagement & Technical Communication:
- Serve as a primary technical point of contact for customers, delivering presentations, managing expectations, participating and, where necessary, leading negotiations.
- Support the reviews and, where necessary, develop high-quality engineering documentation and translate complex technical information into clear narratives.
- Host and arrange logistics for multi-party technical and business events (e.g., kick-off meetings, design reviews, acceptance test campaigns, etc.).
- Assist/Support field issues, including travel to customer sites if needed.
Risk & Schedule Management:
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate technical and program risks.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking progress and adherence to timelines.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk and escalations, and balance business needs versus technical constraints.
- Report technical risks and issues in narrative format (with data) for business and technical teams.
- Create and maintain management weekly reports and dashboards.
Productization & Optimization:
- Responsible for coordination with internal engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to generate launch plan and enablement, ensuring all teams are successful.
- Establish goals and review metrics to identify opportunities and drive success.
- Research and identify new opportunities to innovate for customers.
- Assist in focusing internal and external engineering efforts.
- Ensure delivered work meets technical, functional, performance, regulatory, and business requirements.
- Support in-field test and validation of various UT systems.
- Manage and organize documents library (specifications, design packages, meeting minutes).
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Master's degree or higher in RF Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Specialized expertise in RF with a strong understanding of RF/Antenna/Satellite communication systems.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs, preferably within the satellite communications, telecommunications, or related hardware/software industries.
- Native fluency in English
- Business-level fluency in Korean is preferred.
- Proven experience in technical program management within a fast-paced, global environment.
- Availability to work across disparate time zones.
- Experience with schedule tracking tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, Confluence, and Jira.
- Strong business judgment, confident in front of customers, ability to dive deep into data, and strong written communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in scoping, road-mapping, budgeting, business resource planning, scenario/risk management, status reporting, and metric development/tracking.
- Specialized expertise in other engineering fields (e.g. Hardware, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics) in addition to RF preferred.
- Travel required 15%

Salary : $185,000 - $215,000
