Summary

We are seeking a Learning & Development professional who has experience with GIS and the ESRI Utility Network (UN) who thrives at the intersection of training delivery and content creation. The ideal candidate is equal parts educator, instructional designer, and collaborator, able to translate strategic goals into learning experiences that drive adoption, behavior change, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Offer specific training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skills.
• Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers.
• Collaborate with SMEs and change management teams to translate complex topics into learning materials.
• Design and develop clear, concise, and high-impact training materials such as facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, quick reference guides, and presentations.
• Present information using a variety of instructional techniques and formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, and lectures.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with GIS and the ESRI Utility Network (UN)
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with exceptional time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
• Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, and leadership techniques.
• Basic knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
• Basic knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training required.
• Corporate training delivery experience.
• 3 years related experience required.

Job Type & Salary

Full Time / Hybrid with the ability to commute to our client site in Westwood, MA up to 50% of the time, mainly during high training times.

Salary Range - $85,000 - $95,000

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
