What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Mechanical Engineer position at Intelletec Energy?
We are hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a hardware technology company focused on advanced water purification systems.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role but you will be one of the most senior engineers on a small mechanical team, helping set technical direction while owning critical subsystems end-to-end.

Key responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end design of fluid systems including pump sizing, performance optimization, and system integration
- Design and analyze check valves and flow control components, including transient response and failure modes
- Lead pressure vessel design including stress analysis, fatigue life, safety margins, and material selection
- Drive thermal system design including heat transfer, thermal management, and system-level optimization
Requirements:
- 7 years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience in hardware development environments
- Strong experience with fluid systems, thermo-mechanical systems, or similar (pumps, valves, pressure systems, etc.)
- Strong fundamentals in fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and structural/FEA analysis
