Role: Associate Polymer Scientist II
Location: St. Paul, MN - 55117

What You’ll Do
- Perform hands-on polymer materials characterization using DSC, TGA, FTIR, and related techniques.
- Support medical device project teams by designing test plans and delivering high-quality data.
- Analyze results, interpret material behavior, and prepare clear technical reports.
- Work in a fast-paced, regulated laboratory environment with strong attention to detail.
- Document experiments accurately in an electronic lab notebook (GMP environment).
- Collaborate closely with scientists and cross-functional teams to solve materials challenges.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in materials or polymer characterization.
- Strong expertise in thermal analysis (DSC/TGA) — required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills.
- Comfortable working 100% onsite in a laboratory setting.
- Experience with regulated documentation systems (ELN/GMP) preferred.
- Bonus: Experience with polymer structure–property relationships, Trios, Omnic, or LabVantage ELN
