Job Summary
We are seeking a Sustaining Project Manager to support manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience within an OEM manufacturing environment and a proven track record of improving operational performance through line efficiency, downtime reduction, and scrap reduction initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sustaining and continuous improvement projects across manufacturing operations.
- Drive initiatives focused on improving line efficiency, reducing downtime, and minimizing scrap.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
- Monitor project timelines, risks, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and operations teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) experience is required.
- Strong background in line efficiency improvement, downtime reduction, and scrap management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or related project management certification.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
