Title: Senior NPI Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Beverly, MA
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support New Product Introduction (NPI), process optimization, and manufacturing scalability for electromechanical products. This role will partner closely with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve manufacturing efficiency, support production, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead NPI projects from concept through production ramp-up
- Optimize product manufacturability, assembly, and testing processes
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives
- Develop work instructions, tooling, and process improvements
- Support production troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally on BOMs, procurement, quality, and manufacturing readiness
- Reduce CAPA/NCMR issues and support cost reduction initiatives
- Track and report KPI/OKR manufacturing metrics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- 8 years of experience with electromechanical assemblies
- Strong NPI and manufacturing process experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD tools
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, GD&T, and DFMA
- Experience with ERP/PLM systems (Dynamics 365/Bluestar PLM preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Electrical schematic interpretation experience preferred
