Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Technician to support fully automated assembly lines in a medical device manufacturing environment. The role involves CNC spring coiling machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, engineering testing, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC spring coiling machines and automated equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, including motor overloads, blown fuses, broken wires, and faulty connections.
- Perform precision micro-adjustments, tooling modifications, and equipment repairs.
- Inspect components using calipers, micrometers, and load testers.
- Conduct engineering tests, analyze results, and implement corrective actions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Maintain test equipment, documentation, and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with engineers and train technicians and operators.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of relevant engineering technician or manufacturing equipment experience.
- Associate degree, military training, vocational training, or equivalent experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with PC-controlled equipment, precision measurement, and system-level troubleshooting.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
- Medical device or FDA-regulated industry experience preferred.
- CNC spring coiling experience and micro-adjustment skills highly desirable.
Pay Scale-
Anticipated hourly pay range: specific range such as ($30/hr to $33/hr).
