Quality Control Technician/ QC

Day ShiftJob Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to support the Quality Management System in a medical device manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will perform product testing, review production documentation, conduct quality inspections and audits, support document control activities, and ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform product testing to support quality control, complaint investigations, and stability verification.
• Generate and maintain accurate product testing reports and quality documentation.
• Review production batch records (DHRs) and finished goods documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Identify, document, and ensure resolution of production deviations before product approval.
• Conduct spot-check inspections and quality audits of manufacturing operations.
• Participate in internal quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Write, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support document control, record retention, and sample retention programs.
• Process returned instruments, including logging, decontamination, inspection, documentation, and packaging for repair.
• Perform work in a Biohazard Level II environment while following established decontamination procedures.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, GLP, company quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience in the medical device industry preferred.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Experience reviewing batch records, DHRs, quality documentation, and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to recognize manufacturing deviations and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Proficient with databases, inventory systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer applications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing environment and handling biohazard materials using established safety procedures.
• Ability to use bleach and other approved cleaning agents as required.
