Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer – Fabrication (Sheet Metal & Plastics)
Location: Henrico, VA

Job Summary

Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and optimize sheet metal and plastic fabrication processes. The role focuses on process improvement, equipment support, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and reliable production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes for sheet metal and plastic fabrication.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support maintenance activities.
• Create and maintain work instructions, PFMEA, and control plans.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and customers to optimize processes.
• Apply statistical methods and continuous improvement techniques to enhance manufacturing performance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing or fabrication environments; electrical components experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with CAD, PLC programming, testing tools, and inspection equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
