Job Summary
We are seeking a Hardware Design Test Engineer (Product Engineer) to support production test development and product enablement activities for new product introductions and manufacturing. This role works closely with Hardware Design, Software Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and improve production test solutions while enhancing product quality, reliability, and manufacturing yield. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with experience in hardware testing, PCB debugging, production test, ATE, and electrical engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support production test methodologies for PV/DV programs.
- Assist in developing and maintaining production test software.
- Perform hardware evaluation, integration, and validation activities.
- Support hardware and software integration testing.
- Perform PCB-level hardware debugging and troubleshooting.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret engineering test data.
- Establish and monitor production test limits using statistical analysis.
- Investigate product failures and support return material analysis (RMA).
- Conduct root cause analysis for system, module, and component-level failures.
- Support initiatives to improve product quality, reliability, and manufacturing yield.
- Generate engineering reports and communicate test results.
- Collaborate with Hardware Design, Software Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and external partners to meet project objectives.
- Support continuous improvement of production test processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Related Engineering discipline
- 3–8 years of relevant industry experience.
- Knowledge of electrical circuit design fundamentals.
- Experience with analog and digital circuit troubleshooting.
- Experience with PCB-level debugging.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
- Experience in production test environments.
- Familiarity with failure analysis and reliability testing.
- Knowledge of manufacturing test processes.
- Experience with statistical data analysis.
- Exposure to New Product Introduction (NPI).
