Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop printed wiring board (PWB) and printed circuit board (PCB) layouts using Mentor/Siemens Xpedition.
- Perform analog, digital, and mixed-signal PCB layout design.
- Support schematic entry, PCB layout development, and fabrication package generation.
- Develop high-quality PCB designs that meet electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and project requirements.
- Collaborate with electrical, hardware, and engineering teams to resolve design issues.
- Review PCB layouts and design documentation to ensure accuracy and manufacturability.
- Support design updates, revisions, and documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience in PCB/PWB layout design.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Mentor/Siemens Xpedition ECAD tools.
- Experience in analog, digital, and mixed-signal PCB layout design.
- Proficiency in schematic entry, layout design, and fabrication package generation.
- Strong understanding of PCB design practices and manufacturing requirements.
- Excellent technical communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace, defense, avionics, or electronics industries.
- Familiarity with Cadence Allegro.
- Knowledge of DO-254 and IPC standards.
- Experience with high-speed and high-density PCB design.
- Previous experience with organizations such as Collins Aerospace, Raytheon, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, or Honeywell.
Pay Scale
- Anticipated annual compensation: $85,000–$90,000 per Annum Benefits
