Job Summary
Seeking a Durability CAE Engineer with expertise in finite element analysis (FEA) to evaluate vehicle durability, fatigue life, and structural performance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with durability simulations, road load analysis, and CAE correlation using industry-standard tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop FEA models to evaluate vehicle durability, fatigue, vibration, and structural performance.
- Analyze road load data and correlate physical test results with CAE fatigue predictions.
- Perform durability simulations for chassis, suspension, body structures, powertrain mounts, and closures.
- Develop durability test plans, block cycles, and validate simulation results.
- Optimize vehicle structures by evaluating load paths, fatigue life, and material performance.
- Document simulation results and provide engineering recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in vehicle durability, fatigue analysis, and FEA.
- Proficiency with Abaqus, Nastran, Ncode, and ANSA.
- Strong knowledge of road load data analysis, fatigue prediction, and CAE-to-test correlation.
- Experience with automotive structural components and durability validation.
