Job Description:
We are seeking a Controls Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in Allen-Bradley PLC programming and automated vision systems to support manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting, and validation in North Haven, CT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs and FactoryTalk HMI systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cognex or Keyence vision inspection systems.
- Diagnose machine stoppages and perform root cause analysis.
- Troubleshoot electrical schematics, servo motors, and motion controllers.
- Support equipment validation, commissioning, and process improvements.
- Participate in risk assessments and equipment design reviews.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, or Electromechanical Engineering preferred.
- 3–5 years of controls or automation engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with ControlLogix, CompactLogix, or GuardLogix PLCs.
- Experience with Cognex or Keyence vision systems and FactoryTalk HMI.
- Knowledge of Ladder Logic, SCL/Structured Text, FBD, and Graph.
- Experience with equipment validation and electrical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and automated assembly equipment.
