Corda Blockchain Developer (Java or Kotlin)

We would like to welcome a skilled Java/Kotlin developer who has experience with Corda or is motivated to learn it. As part of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex solutions based on Corda.

R3’s Corda is a scalable, permissioned peer-to-peer (P2P) distributed ledger technology (DLT) platform that enables the building of applications that foster and deliver digital trust between parties in regulated markets. Corda natively supports strong identity, privacy, scalability, and security requirements, making it the DLT platform of choice for financial services and beyond.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver production-ready Corda applications and ensure the CorDapps are ready to be deployed in an enterprise environment.

• Keep up to date with the latest developments of Corda.
• Contribute to requirements analysis of Corda applications.
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle.
• Coach and mentor other members of the development team, growing the collective knowledge and expertise of the group.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of software development experience in general.
• Experience developing applications on Corda or understanding the Corda DLT platform.

• Strong foundation in Java or Kotlin.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Design Concepts.
  
• Understanding of the modern development ecosystem: Git, CI/CD, automated testing, etc.
• Experience with common Spring projects (Spring Framework, Spring Boot).
• The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

Would be a plus:

• Good understanding of distributed systems architecture. Comfortable with enterprise business applications and environments.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
