Job Description:
The Management Analyst will support the USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center by delivering advanced data analysis, reporting, and decision-support related to procurement, human capital, and operational performance. This role focuses on assessing “metrics-that-matter,” ensuring data quality and integrity, and providing actionable insights to leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex data analyses, methodologies, and predictive models across procurement, human capital, and contract management domains.
- Analyze and report on systems such as CPARS, FPDS-NG, ECFS, contract closeout, certifications, and acquisition metrics.
- Collect, manage, and validate large datasets from internal and external stakeholders.
- Create dashboards, visualizations, and analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel) to support leadership decision-making.
- Produce high-visibility ad hoc reports, quarterly/annual briefings, technical memos, research papers, and policy briefs.
- Support continuous process improvement, enterprise data quality initiatives, and risk assessments related to data integrity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, research, or management analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, and communication skills.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, data validation).
- Experience presenting complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
