IntellEct Engineering is an electrical engineering consulting firm providing fast, code-compliant electrical engineering design for commercial, multifamily, educational, healthcare, government, and residential projects throughout New Mexico. Our designs help architects, contractors, developers, and building owners obtain permits quickly while delivering reliable construction documents sealed by a licensed Professional Engineer P.E..
As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated Part-Time Revit/ AutoCAD Technician. This position has the potential to transition into a full-time career opportunity for the right individual.
Position Summary
You will work directly with experienced engineers on a variety of projects ranging from large custom homes to schools, hospitals, commercial developments, and government facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience in electrical engineering design and learn while you work.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing electrical construction drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Support electrical power, lighting, and fire alarm system designs.
- Perform electrical load calculations and equipment sizing.
- Conduct field site visits and document existing conditions.
- Assist with code research using the National Electrical Code (NEC), International Building Code (IBC), and local building requirements.
- Organize project documentation and maintain project files.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients.
- Complete additional engineering and administrative tasks as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
