Position Details

Job Title: Business Analyst with P&C Insurance experience

Location: Chicago, Illinois - Onsite

Job Type - Full Time

Experience Level – 7 to 10 years

Requirements

• Should have extensive knowledge of Commercial P&C Insurance in the US market and industry trends

• Should have experience and knowledge about Policy Management, Underwriting, New Business, and Claims functionalities of the insurance life cycle

• Should have strong understanding of business processes, data, workflows, rules management, and product configurations for insurance systems

• Hands on experience working on data based and API based products

• Strong business analysis skills with experience in Agile methodologies and sprints

• Ability to understand business needs or problems through GAP analysis, business process analysis, data analysis, and interactive sessions with stakeholders

• Ability to understand and document requirements such as functional, data, interface, and GUI designs

• Ability to translate complex business processes and scenarios into simple business requirements using user stories, use cases, or modeling tools

• Ability to conduct and facilitate system testing, quality assurance testing, and user acceptance testing

• Able to run user training sessions as needed to support functional and maintenance releases

• Should maintain a positive attitude and be a good team player

• Strong communication skills to interface effectively with technology teams, architecture leads, QA teams, and individuals at all levels

• Experience working with off shore and on site teams

Nice to Have

• Experience of working with rating, forms, ISO specifications, ERC and ACORD standards for P&C products

• Able to contribute to product conceptualization, thought partnership and business architecture for insurance software products

• Experience working directly with United States based commercial P&C insurers

• Experience in data and analytics related to commercial P&C insurance
