This role will suit a PhD AI innovator hands-on coder with at least 8 years PostPHD experience and a track record of applied research and an ability to bridge advanced algorithms with real use cases. To shape IP, guide co-design with hardware/software teams, and work alongside customers and commercial teams to build world-changing solutions.

You must have advanced NISQ-era algorithms like VQE, QAOA, and hybrid methods, applying quantum solutions to optimization, machine learning, simulation platforms & quantum chemistry.

• Proven AI/ML depth, hands-on coding, and quantum algorithm interest
• Strong publication quality research coupled with real-world software delivery
• Ability to connect cutting-edge research with high-impact use cases
• Develop hybrid algorithms that combine classical AI (e.g. deep learning, LLMs) with quantum circuits.

• Develop scalable hybrid applications using CPU, GPU, and QPU platforms
• Build novel quantum-AI algorithms, from research through to enterprise delivery
• Collaborate with product, systems, and compiler teams to optimize performance
• Engage directly with industry clients to define and co-develop use-case-driven models
• Publish, present, and guide thought leadership across internal and external platforms

• PhD (or equivalent) in CompSci, Physics, Engineering, or similar
• 8 years of industrial experience in scalable AI development
• Fluency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace, and hybrid infrastructure
• Strong portfolio of technical publications or delivered algorithms
• Qiskit, Cirq, CUDA-Q, or similar SDKs
• Domain experience in NLP, logistics, simulations, or industrial-scale optimization is valuable
