Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility and transfer of patients, including the use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Monitor and report any changes in patients' health status to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control policies and procedures.
- Help patients with exercises and physical therapy activities as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive and caring environment.
- Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Qualifications:
- Valid CNA certification in the state of California.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
