Intela Staffing is looking to fill a Shipping Clerk role for a Luxury Drains manufacturer in the city of Huntington Beach, CA .
Schedule : Monday through Friday 2 : 15PM 11 : 00PM
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and process shipments, including verifying and packaging items for delivery.
- Generate and print shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation.
- Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, proper labeling, and adherence to company standards.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments to confirm on-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including tracking numbers and delivery confirmations.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient materials are available for shipping.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Receiving and Inventory, to resolve discrepancies or issues.
- Operate shipping tools, scales, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized shipping area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Must pass background check.
- Adaptability / flexibility when encountering problems.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, dependability, and persistence.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using shipping software and tools.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office or similar programs.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
