Who You Are:
As a Structure ASIC Platform Architect, you will research, recommend, specify, and document architectural specification for SASIC platforms in support of organization's strategic vision. You will be responsible for translating business/customer requirements into SASIC platform architecture encompassing hardened IPs/SoCs, software, soft IPs and other components designed to support a variety of systems, solutions, and applications.
Areas of responsibility for this role include, but not limited to the following:
- Design, develop, and analyze overall platform architecture to meet use cases and workloads in terms of performance, scalability, manageability, reliability, and security requirements.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve subsystem and/or SoC design weaknesses.
- Lead architectural governance and decisions related to product technology and platform tradeoffs as part of a cross functional architecture decision group.
- Provide technical direction for platform, SoC, and subsystem design activities. Influences the shaping of future products/solutions by significantly contributing to the architecture and technology employed throughout.
- Provide multilayered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Qualifications
Minimum Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 9 years of experience or
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 6 years of experience
Minimum Required Qualifications:
9 years of experience in integrating ASIC IP into SOC
9 years of experience with RTL design, synthesis, and/or static timing analysis
8 years of experience with automation using scripting techniques such as PERL, Python, C Shell, or TCL
8 years of experience in SoC (FPGA or ASIC) design flows and methodologies
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
6 years of experience in FPGA Design Software and Development Kits
6 years of experience with performance and power analysis

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $156,410.00-$250,410.00
- Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
