The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in qubit measurement with an innovative mindset and passion for pushing the boundaries of quantum processor development. In this role, you'll independently design experiments, analyze quantum device performance, and collaborate across teams to accelerate Intel's quantum computing roadmap.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced research environment and can adapt to evolving program needs while maintaining focus on breakthrough results.

The Quantum Computing Measurement Engineer responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Propose and execute innovative ideas to accelerate Intel's quantum program.
  • Study spin qubits in silicon.
  • Design and implement experiments
  • Hands-on device electrical measurements.
  • Analyze data and develop predictive device models.
  • Develop efficient device testing and verification methods.
  • Use dilution refrigerators.
  • Efficiently communicate and collaborate with other groups to determine and validate success criteria.
  • Independent design and follow-through of unique, enabling ideas are key expectations for this role.
  • Collaboration with external research groups and vendor programs.
