What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Shift Segment Leader position at Intel?
This position is for Compressed Work Week night shift. Segment Leaders perform functions associated with all wafer movement for all processes in D1 and will be responsible for executing a section of the line. Primary responsibilities can include: drumbeat execution, managing Critical Queue times, addressing Static & hold lots, meeting cycle times goals, balancing shells, managing hot boxes, addressing ASOM/CORE issues, RFC execution, getting tool status updates and executing to established game plans. Successful candidate will need to communicate with people in different levels of the organization including: ROC OM's, COSs, Line Leaders, Shift 1 Segment Leaders, Shift GL's and others as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Candidate must have an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business or a STEM field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an operations manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
- This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position

- Previous experience in Intel’s D1 Organization is highly desirable
