Job Description
The Learning and Development Consultant will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Implement and manage a BU Learning Council, which is collaborative, and cross-disciplinary that uses research, dialogue, recommendations, action, and evaluation to set the BU learning strategy.
- Manages online content and pathways on Degreed in partnership with vendors.
- Anticipates market needs and designs, curates, or manages learning experiences and technology across the company in support of the achievement of business objectives and organizational talent plans for continuing education, new hire integration, online performance support, and leadership development.
- Collaborates and align with Corporate Learning and Development teams to ensure training solutions are available to employees.
- Assists in developing, implementing, and evaluating BU-specific and enterprise-wide employee development programs while partnering with relevant teams and centers of excellence.
- Creates and manages online training.
- Recommends, develops, and delivers training content that follows instructional design principles. Applies knowledge of traditional and modern job training methods, techniques, and tools.
- Plans accordingly to meet the learning demands of the business unit.
- Learning and development and business acumen are critical. Deep understanding of the business's needs, skills, and capabilities to meet their learning demands.
- Ongoing review and approval of Quarterly demand to address the available budget.
- Responsible for managing the learning metrics of the online catalog, content vendors, and Learning Hubs.
- Manages tool to request training, reviews requests with learning leads, and sources virtual and face-to-face training requests.
- Prioritizes and manages complex projects simultaneously without losing attention to detail.
- Applies and leverages structured project management tools to analyze data and inform processes and recommendations.
- Creates opportunities, challenges the status quo, and understands business goals to make the most relevant, scalable, innovative training solutions.
- Plans, organizes, and manages resources for completing program goals; works autonomously while managing multiple projects simultaneously with matrixed, geographically distributed teams and business groups.
- Supports the tracking and communication of corporate and BU training initiatives in partnership with various Marketing and Comms teams.
- Coordinating activities, including alignment with subject matter experts and other Learning and Development team members to ensure project completion on time, schedule, and availability to the target audience.
- Identifies training or process improvement opportunities and provides recommendations.
- Engages, collaborates, and influences the new network. Establishes functional and trusted relationships with the business unit.
- Must know different business groups across Intel, how the functions fit together, how to build solutions that meet the needs of multiple groups, and coordinates across other learning consultants; leverages and learns from high-level technical subject matter experts to speak confidently with business unit stakeholders.
- Builds and manages stakeholder relationships, clarifies understanding of requestor requirements (listening and critical thinking), and influences the design and execution of learning strategies and solutions.
- Listens, questions, interprets, and clarifies in business and technical terms; articulates and creates succinct messages for technical and non-technical audiences at varying seniority levels.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager's discretion.

Qualifications
You must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- The candidate must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or other related fields.

4 years of experience in the following:
- Adult learning and use of learning tools and methods.
- Program management.
- Matrixed organization.
- Project management.
- Development of training programs based on needs assessment results or identified service opportunities preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Learning Methodologies and Technologies: Demonstrated success and experience in developing and delivering training content that follows instructional design principles.
- Proficient with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Zoom, Qualtrics, Saba LMS, Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, and familiarity with learning and content management systems.
- Knowledge of traditional and modern job training methods, techniques, and tools.
- Innovation/Learning: experience thinking outside the box and understand future goals to create the most appropriate, scalable, innovative training solutions for our stakeholders.
- Experience working in Human Resources (HR) Business Group.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $96,030.00-$144,050.00
- Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
