Key Responsibilities
- Conduct qualitative risk assessments and personal protective equipment evaluations for workplace environments.
- Evaluate chemical exposure implications and approve their usage based on toxicology data.
- Monitor workplace environments to identify and mitigate health risks.
- Ensure compliance with local industrial hygiene regulations and Intel's internal standards.
- Support site program self-assessments, follow-up plans, and respond to incident investigations.
- Participate in project reviews, pre-startup safety reviews, and hazard evaluations.
- Conduct surveys of working conditions to assess hazardous exposures and control measure effectiveness.
- Develop industrial hygiene policies, programs, and procedural documentation in alignment with global and regional standards.
- Investigate employee reports of unsafe conditions and provide actionable recommendations.
- Perform inspections of existing facilities and new constructions to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across teams and functions.
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Adept at critical thinking and disciplined execution in high-stakes environments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or a related field.
- 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial hygiene with demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, exposure evaluation, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in analytical reporting, workplace safety planning, and risk management tools.
- Master's degree in occupational health, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or a related field.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring others on safety protocols and industrial hygiene practices.
