What You’ll Do
- Lead the development and optimization of tooling, processes, and equipment for extrusion.
- Provide senior-level technical support for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Guide and supervise tool shop activities and personnel.
- Evaluate and recommend new equipment, including capital justification.
- Manage engineering projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and documentation are maintained.
- Drive continuous improvement, training, and new technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical input for customer RFQs.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field
- 5 years of plastics extrusion experience (required)
- Tooling experience (preferred)
- Supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A continuous improvement mindset and passion for efficiency
- Advanced technical expertise and analytical problem-solving abilities
