Summary
The Accounting Associate position would be responsible for accounts payable processing/auditing, commission assistance, and clerical support for Financial Services Division.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Processing/auditing of Agent commission payments
- Commission expense/revenue processing
- Clerical support for Financial Services Division
- Processing/auditing of trade payable invoices
- Creating and sending agent commission statements
- Prepare basic financial reports and summaries.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial data
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Skills/Competencies:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work independently and with others and follow department procedures.
- Organizational skills.
- Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
- Filing, data entry and typing skills with accuracy,
- Honest, as well as respect, for the company and its policies & procedures is crucial.
- Bookkeeping experience and accurate 10-key by touch required.
