ICU Nurse - Emergency Overnight and Second Shift

Integrity Veterinary Center (IVC) is seeking skilled Veterinary Technicians for overnight and swing ER shifts. We are a privately owned specialty, emergency and urgent care hospital providing advanced services in internal medicine, clinical nutrition, oncology, outpatient imaging (ultrasound and CT), complex dental procedures for high-anesthetic-risk patients and soft tissue surgery.

• $3.00/hour shift differential for hours worked between 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform jugular and peripheral venipuncture
• Place IV catheters and conduct in-house laboratory diagnostics
• Monitor and manage patients under sedation and anesthesia
• Assist veterinarians in emergency, specialty, and urgent outpatient cases
• Obtain patient histories and provide thorough case updates during shift rounds
• Maintain clear communication with clients and colleagues
• Support a cooperative and efficient team environment

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Doppler blood pressure monitoring, venipuncture, catheter placement, lab procedures, and anesthesia/sedation monitoring
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced ER setting
• Team-focused mindset with a desire for continued growth

Preferred:

• Experience in emergency and/or specialty medicine
• Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) credential
