Integrity Urgent Care is looking for a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. This position does require traveling to multiple clinics within the NE Texas region. Travel is required. Responsibilities- Take and record vital signs, medical history, and patient symptoms
- Assist providers during examinations and treatments
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers
- Collect lab specimens and perform basic lab tests
- Verify and update patient information in electronic medical records
- Prepare and clean exam rooms before and after patient visits
- Educate patients on medications, treatments, and self-care procedures
- This position will be required to be trained in X-Ray
- Must be willing to travel regularly (Cities to travel to: Anna, Greenville, Bonham, Quinlan others within NE Texas)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Proficient computer skills, experience with electronic medical records preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work weekends and/or holidays when needed
- Compassionate and professional demeanor with patients and team members
