HVAC Technician – $27/HR
Location: Houston TX
Schedule: M-F some weekends
Join a great team! Integrity Trade Services is hiring an experienced HVAC Technician to maintain, repair, and install heating and air conditioning systems throughout district facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operation of all HVAC systems through preventive maintenance and repairs.
Job Duties / Responsibilities:

• Maintain, repair, and install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC systems throughout the district.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctions in various heating and air conditioning systems, including rooftop units.
• Install new HVAC systems and components; relocate and expand existing systems as needed.
• Repair, replace, or calibrate controls, thermostats, switches, fuses, and electrical wiring.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork and piping according to specifications and codes.
• Wire and connect motors, compressors, and temperature/humidity controls per wiring schematics.
• Maintain freon dispensing records in compliance with federal regulations.
• Assist in energy conservation surveys to promote efficient HVAC energy usage.
• Receive and complete corrective and preventive maintenance work orders.
• Select materials and hardware, providing time and material estimates.
• Maintain accurate records of materials and labor used.
• Inspect completed jobs for quality and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with building principals and supervisors to complete projects.
• Detect needed repairs following established inspection procedures.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
• Assist in training and supervising skilled HVAC workers and A/C Filter Mechanics.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Texas Refrigerant & Equipment Certification required.
• Five (5) years’ experience in the HVAC field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC repairs, preventive maintenance, and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference materials.
• Skilled in performing mathematical calculations related to HVAC work.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Must pass ITS screenings.
