Human Resources Generalist

HR Generalist Overview: Our HR Generalist will work work in fast paced, ever-changing, warehouse environments.  You’ll interact with various levels of individuals and need to know how to communicate with each person to ensure they know their conversation is important.  You will understand the importance of consistency while looking at all of the individual factors of a situation. You should be detail-oriented, well organized, and know the importance of following up. 

Above all, our HR Generalists are friendly, engaging, and enjoy working with people in a warehouse/distribution center environment.

• You’ll need to be fluent in Spanish/English (reading/writing/speaking) and willing to work onsite at our client warehouse daily for consideration.
• This role is a short-term project for Q4 season but has no end date.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review/respond and resolve temporary associate, client and staff member concerns in person, via video, phone and Nitro ticketing system
• Address associate and staff member concerns appropriately in a manner that supports both the concerned individual and the company
• Conduct and manage investigations of associate complaints and concerns
• Provide guidance to staff members on HR and Safety issues
• Partner with client HR and client managers to address concerns and determine solutions
• Work with client and site management team to ensure consistent processes are in place for daily activities which have an HR impact
• Listen with empathy and act as a sounding board for associate and staff member concerns
• Partner teams to fill any open client or internal staff positions as needed

Education, Skills, & Abilities Required:

• Fluency in Spanish & English (reading/writing/speaking) is required
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a heavy focus on employee relations
• Knowledge of State and Federal Employment Laws/Regulations in New Jersey
• Knowledge of Nitro ticketing and Bullhorn is strongly preferred
• Experience using outlook, excel required
• Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule when needed

Pay: $66,640.10 - $72,000.00 per year
