Employee Relations Partner

Job Overview

We are seeking a Employee Relations Partner to join our onsite team at a major client in New Jersey.

In this role, you will serve as a trusted resource for client managers, internal staff and temporary employees on assignment, fostering a positive and compliant workplace environment.

Your expertise in human capital management, employment law, conflict resolution, and organizational change will be essential in promoting employee engagement, resolving workplace issues, and ensuring adherence to HR legal standards

This is an onsite, short term role with our team, expected to last 3-6 months.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance on conflict management, performance issues, and workplace concerns.
• Develop and implement strategies for employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture enhancement.
• Manage investigations related to employee grievances, harassment allegations, or policy violations with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Collaborate with leadership on change management initiatives and large-scale organizational change projects.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws HR legal standards.
• Support talent acquisition efforts by advising on recruitment strategies, interviewing processes, and onboarding procedures.
• Facilitate training & development programs aimed at enhancing managerial skills in coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Utilize HR systems such as HRIS (Human Resources Information System), Nitro Ticketing, Bamboo and Bullhorn.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources with a focus on employee relations or HR legal compliance.
• Demonstrated expertise in employment & labor law, HR legal compliance, and conflict management techniques.
• Proficiency with HR systems such as HRIS platforms, and data analysis tools.
• Strong knowledge of talent management strategies including succession planning and performance evaluation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and handle confidential information discreetly.
• Experience managing large-scale headcount
• Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day employee relations challenges effectively.

Pay: $61,813.94 - $72,442.59 per year
