A multinational engineering company with a facility in the Warren, MI area is currently seeking a Project Accountant for their growing team! This is a long term, full time opportunity for experienced Accounts Payable Specialists / Project Accountants with solid experience with job based accounting to join a stable and growing organization offering professional growth, competitive compensation, and excellent work/home life balances.
Project Accountant rates are anticipated to be in the $85,000-$110,000/year range based on each candidates' experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. We also offer excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and more.
Qualified Project Accounts will have most (if not all) of the following skills and experiences:
- 3 years of recent / relevant accounts payable, contract analysis, and closely related finance experience with job based accounting in an engineering, construction, manufacturing, or closely related industry.
- Solid MS Excel skills including experience with Pivot Tables, VLookups, XLookups, etc.
- Must have solid skills and knowledge with SAP, experience with Work Breakdown Structures is a benefit but training is available.
- A BA in Finance or closely related education is strongly preferred. Associates degrees combined with equivalent experience, or 11 years of recent / relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal educations.
- Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
