Caregiver Job Responsibilities*:
The most important and rewarding responsibility you’ll have as a caregiver is to develop a meaningful relationship with the residents. You’ll also provide a variety of services, such as:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
- Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance
- Respond to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provide or obtain assistance with care as necessary
- Assist in the dining room during resident meal times
- Encourage residents to participate in scheduled activities and outings, and assist with those activities as needed
- Assist in the cleanliness of the community, including straightening resident beds, emptying resident garbage, and tidying resident rooms daily and as needed
- Assist with resident laundry per shift guidelines
Pay depends on experience and performance. Shift differentials and incentives are in play!
