Our company is seeking an experienced and dependable Med Tech to join our team at an adult care home in Morganton, NC.
We are currently hiring for a part-time, flexible Med Tech position with the potential to transition into full-time hours based on facility needs and availability.
The Med Tech is responsible for the safe and accurate administration of medications while also supporting the overall care, safety, and well-being of our residents throughout the assigned shift.
Prior experience working as a Med Tech in an adult care home, assisted living community, or similar senior care setting is strongly preferred.
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, patient, dependable, and team-oriented, with a strong work ethic and commitment to providing quality resident care.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications accurately and according to physician orders
- Verify correct medication dosage, time, and administration route
- Prepare and label medications appropriately
- Accurately document medication administration in accordance with facility policies and state regulations
- Monitor residents and report medication concerns or changes in condition as appropriate
- Assist residents with daily care needs as required
- Work collaboratively with other members of the care team
- Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of care at all times
Qualifications
- Previous Med Tech experience preferred
- Experience in an adult care home or assisted living setting strongly preferred
- Dependable and able to work a flexible schedule
- Strong attention to detail and medication safety
- Compassionate and professional approach to resident care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
