Job DescriptionThe Technology-Focused Procurement Category Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management of related goods and services. This role ensures cost-effective acquisition of IT hardware, software, cloud services, telecommunications, and other solutions while maintaining quality, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives. The manager collaborates with internal stakeholders and vendors to drive innovation, optimize spend, and mitigate risks in the supply chain.ResponsibilitiesCategory Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategies for various categories, can include technology, facilities, professional services, etc. aligning with business goals and market trends.Sourcing and Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with technology suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs).Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts for technology products and services, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational policies.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with assigned departments, IT, and finance to understand technology needs, forecast demand, and prioritize procurement initiatives.Cost Optimization: Analyze spend data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) for technology assets.Supplier Performance Monitoring: Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, ensuring quality, delivery, and innovation standards are met.Market Analysis: Stay informed on technology market trends, emerging solutions, and supplier capabilities to inform sourcing decisions.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to technology procurement, including cybersecurity, compliance, and supply chain disruptions.Sustainability and Compliance: Promote sustainable procurement practices and ensure adherence to data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ITAR).Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, leveraging technology (e.g., e-procurement tools, ERP systems) to enhance efficiency. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, PMP) preferred.Experience: 8 years of procurement or category management experienceStrong negotiation and contract management skills.Proficiency in procurement tools (e.g., Ironclad, NetSuite, Coupa).Analytical mindset with experience in spend analysis and cost modeling.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Knowledge of cybersecurity, data privacy regulations, and risk management.Attributes: Strategic thinker, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Company DescriptionIntegrity Resources was formed in 2010 as a result of years of staffing experience combined with the need for a better industry model.
